The Boen Santa Maria Valley Pinot Noir by Joe Wagner is a deep ruby color with a nose of ripe red and dark fruit, including blackberry, plum, and raspberry, along with hints of vanilla and oak. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and velvety with flavors of dark cherry, blueberry, and a touch of spice. The tannins are firm yet supple, with balanced acidity and a long, lingering finish.
