At this point Ulli and Phil Lardot are the sole owners of Palmberg – it can be considered a monopole! It is truly their happy place and if Ulli were playing to bigger audiences perhaps be more widely known. It is without a doubt one of the best vineyards in the entirety of the Mosel – solid cliff face of blue and grey slate, all terraced micro parcels of 80-100 year old vines.
