Buck Shack 2019 Bourbon Barrel Red Blnd

2018 was the longest vintage ever! Our first grapes came in on August 21st and our last grapes came in November 16th. However, slow and steady wins the race. A long, mild temperature vintage always makes for the greatest wine because the grapes can slowly ripen. We call it hang time. We havent seen wines this dense and concentrated in a few vintages.

Blend: Syrah;Petite Sirah;Zinfandel;Cabernet Franc;Barbera;Merlot;Cabernet Sauvignon

Tasting Notes

This red blend is dark garnet in color. The aromas are of ripe blackberries, sweet tobacco, and hints of Bourbon with American oak undertones. The flavors are a mouthful of dark fruits, bold spices, and the richness of Bourbon on the finish.
