2023 Domaine des Garriguettes ‘Le Beret Bleu’ (Cinsault) Cotes du Rhone, France

The vineyard of the Domaine des Garriguettes is a few miles from Avignon and is labelled under the Ctes-du-Rhne appellation. The Domain also produces Chteauneuf du Pape and stretches over more than 125 acres of land.

Situated on a hillside and benefitting from a pebble land, a Mediterranean climate and an exposition to southern winds, the harvest is thus naturally healthy and confers upon the wine the typical characteristics of the local soil. This Mediterranean climate is also extremely beneficial to the olive trees which give the olive oil of the Domain (certified Organic Agriculture as well).

The use of traditional and natural vinifaction methods shows the constant quest for high-quality wine and environmentally-aware wine cultivation. The wines produced by the Domain are organically grown and the grapes are cultivated with biodynamic methods following the Demeter International Standards.
