The palate confirms these flavors and brings fine-grained tannins that add a delicate backbone. Acidity injects a dose of freshness and uplifts those lively red fruits.

James Suckling 91 Points | Mulberries, cooked plums, stewed strawberries and cinnamon stick on the nose. Fruity and full-bodied with stemmy tannins. Ripe while retaining tangy zesty elements and spicy complexity.

Winemaker Description

At Terra dOro, the Zinfandel grapes are carefully picked at night and brought to the winery for processing. After fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine is aged in a combination of French and American oak (24% new) for 15 months resulting in subtle caramel notes with indications of exotic spice.
