Winemaker Description

The Macon-Villages Chteau de Miarnde has an open and intense nose of citrus fruits, pears and hints of butter. On the palate it is juicy and full, the long finish has touches of creamy notes and finishes crisp and fresh.

Jean Loron’s Chteau de Mirande Macon Villages is aged without contact with wood and ages for 6 months on the Lees, which gives the wine depth and structure. It also comes from a vineyard with Chardonnay vines that are on average forty years old, which gives the wine complexity and further depth.
