Stratospherically brilliant. 1998 was one of Dom Perignon’s more delicate vintages but in this guise is so much more with considerably greater intensity. If you havent experienced one of Dom Perignons Plenitude (thats what the P stands for) Champagnes before then I urge you to start here. Life/ Champagne doesnt get much better than this.

What can you say? Some may be cynical of some of the glamour and glitz that surrounds Dom Perignon. However Richard Geoffroy, Dom Perignon’s Head Wine Maker, is simply superb at his game. Just about every vintage is awaited with bated breath by the wine industry and accolades for both him and his Champagnes are far too numerous to mention. If you are a long standing fan of his work and have tried the Blanc many times, then we highly recommend tasting some of the older vintages Richard holds back
Tremendous now but I suspect this will keep for some time yet. Terrific structure with that classic Dom Perignon elegance. Fresh herbal and light citrus notes hold the intensity and acidity into perfect balance. Whilst the House doesnt reveal the precise blend this is almost exactly half Chardonnay and half Pinot Noir.
