El Tesoro is the last handmade tequila. It uses traditional distillation methods that take more time, but bring out the true agave flavor. El Tesoro slowly age their Aejo tequila in American oak ex-bourbon barrels for two to three years. Imparting a stronger influence of oak but still allowing the spirit to maintain the complexion of agave.
Aromas of floral jasmine and oak with agave back notes. A sweet and balanced palate with pepper, oak, floral tones. Hints of maple sweetness and red fruit acidity, vanilla and caramel.
