Larusee Absinthe Verte

In the French speaking canton of Neuchtel, the distillery Larusee prides itself on making Absinthe in the traditional French method. Whereas the colour of most other absinthes adapts to a mossy green in the bottle when the chlorophyll in the botanicals used dies off, the Larusee absinthe is able to retain its pixie-like green by having the botanicals macerate in the spirit directly after it is distilled. The taste is unparalleled, swirling notes of hysop, lemon and mint are the stars, leaving you with an anise finish; entirely enchanted by the green fairy.
