Mitolo Cabernet Sauvignon Jester

Bright and fresh with signature Cabernet Sauvignon characteristics of red capsicum, menthol, violet and mixed herbs. Full bodied and mouth filling with juicy red cherry, blackcurrant and cassis, intertwined with savory dark chocolate and tobacco. The Amarone component adds to a textured finish.

Tasting Notes

Silken, savoury and medium bodied. Ripe cassis flavours initially, followed closely by a complex mix of savoury characters with more cigar-box, brambles and earthy undergrowth notes that really fill out the mid palate. Theres higher toned red fruits as well on return to the glass with a lovely, tight spine of acidity running through, really drawing the palate out.
