Planeta 2020 Etna Rosso

This substantial but smooth Etna Rosso is a contemporary interpretation from Planetas unique black volcanic vineyard Vanilla, sour cherry, wild strawberry, a very clean floral effect; Expressive fruit with elements of undergrowth, myrtle and oriental spices. Perfect ccompaniment to the simplest pasta with tomato dish to more complex dishes of meat and fish. Every day drinkable red wine with marked savory flavor and a ferrous touch, rhubarb and very evident black pepper. Aged in wooden and stainless steel tanks for 6-8 months.

Tasting Notes

This wine is produced at our Feudo di Mezzo winery, situated in the heart of Etna viticulture. It comes from Nerello Mascalese grapes, and from the search for a modern expression of this noble grape variety cultivated in the unique and splendid terroir of Etna.
