Growing up in a family of seven and the youngest of five brothers, nothing came easy (or without a few bruises). Even the nightly dinner table turned into a ‘survival of the fittest’ competition. Forty years later, reflecting on the winery we built together, it’s easy to see how competitiveness morphed into cooperation and commitment. We each contributed in our own way, and together we were stronger than any of us alone.
